The Row PPU is pleased to announce that Shay McConnon (class of 1961) has been elected Rowman of the Year for 2011. MR. SHAY McCONNON is the Founding Director of People First Ltd., an international consultancy group that specializes in people issues. He is the creator of "An Even Better Place to Work," the world’s first online culture change programme which is being used by Siemens, the NHS, Royal Bank of Scotland, Selex and other blue chip companies globally. Mr. McConnon has designed and developed training materials, workbooks, games, posters, video and CD products. He is the author of 19 books on personal development. His educational series has been used extensively in the UK, and has formed the basis of many personal and Social Education Programmes around the world. His book Resolving Conflict has been published in nine languages and the World Bank in New York bought 500 copies of the book for their managers.
